Why We Created On Time Deliver
and Our Approach
The development of On Time Deliver was driven by the specific needs of a company that faced significant challenges in managing their truck orders, which were often communicated through Viber messages or phone calls. This method led to several critical issues:
- Difficulty in tracking each truck’s arrival time and license plate number.
- Inability to monitor the status of each order, whether it was in transit, on hold, or delivered.
- Errors with license plates requiring trucks to return for corrections.
- Excessive pressure on logistics managers, with constant phone calls to truck companies.
- Overall strain on the production company, impacting both customers and suppliers.
Recognizing these challenges, we decided to create a web app that would address these issues comprehensively. On Time Deliver provides a centralized, efficient solution for managing and tracking truck logistics, ensuring a fast and simple process for creating orders and monitoring them through to their final status.
What we have done?
The On Time Deliver app has accelerated and simplified the process of creating, tracking, and managing truck order logistics.
- We have built an entirely new web system for tracking and managing the logistics of ordered trucks.
- On Time Deliver features an admin panel that allows for the creation and management of all elements used within the app (suppliers, customers, trucks, and carriers).
- The app’s UI/UX design ensures easy use across all devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile).
OTD - App features
The On Time Deliver app offers the ability to create both import and export orders. Users can track all orders and their statuses on a daily or monthly calendar.
- Carriers can confirm the loading process, updating the system with the status of trucks and cargo.
- The loading of goods by warehouse staff is monitored and automatically synced with the app.
